Abstract: Competition law is one of the most important and influential areas of public economic rights; competition law is a set of rules and regulations aimed at maintaining and facilitating competition in the market and counteracting the emergence of anti-competitive practices. Due to its relationship with the economy, competition law regulates healthy competition between production and distribution sectors and increases economic efficiency and, ultimately, welfare. In this research, the foundations and objectives of the law of competition in the legal system of Iran are examined.
