Difference Identification in Synthetic Aperature Radar Images based on Image Fusion and Fuzzy Clustering Algorithm

Abstract: This paper presents an unsupervised distribution-free difference identification approach for synthetic aperture radar (SAR) optimized with fuzzy point of fusion related. The image fusion technique is introduced to find the differences between two SAR Images. This is done by Mean ratio operator and Log Ratio Operator. The fusion process take place between the mean ratio image and log ratio image by Wavelet fusion Rule by low frequency band and high frequency band respectively. A modified fuzzy local-information C-means clustering algorithm is proposed for classifying changed and unchanged regions in the fused difference image. It incorporates the information for the purpose of enhancing the changed information and of reducing the effect of speckle noise. The difference identification results obtained by the improved fuzzy clustering algorithm exhibited lower error than its preexistences.
