Comparison teaching quality and the occupational functioning of international university and Ferdowsi University of Mashhad

Abstract: The purpose of this research is a comparison of the teaching quality and occupational functioning of international university and Ferdowsi University of Mashhad .This study from purpose point of view is applied and research methods are descriptive survey. The population of this study consisted of all students (3155)and professors (68)public University and the International University of Mashhad in the academic year2015-2016.The sample size is stratified according to Cochran formula of 343 students(297 public,46 international) and random sampling method. Samples in professors had done by census population.To determine the normal distribution of the sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was performed. For this purpose, the standard questionnaire with variables such as mastering content of teaching, lesson plans, teaching methods, classroom management, communication skills evaluation questionnaire with Cranach's alphaof86%,and standard questionnaire occupational functioning variables such as strength, a perception of the job, organizational support, motivation ,evaluation, Reliability and environmental elements with Cranach's alpha 86% was used. The reliability of the questionnaire in this study was obtained respectively0.80and0.77.For data analysis is used from the two methods of descriptive statistics(frequency, average and standard deviation)and inferential(T-independent analysis ANOVA)and post hoc(Tukey HSD).The results showed that all of the control of the content, lesson plans ,teaching skills, classroom management, evaluation ,communication skills, morals or educational, teaching skills except professor’s guidance and consultant has a significant difference in the two international and public universities. Furthermore results showed that all the elements of knowledge and skill, resolution role, organizational support, motivation, feedback ,and environmental elements with the exception of the variable component of professor’s occupational functioning ratings in two international and public universities have not significant difference.
